The Sports Clinic Welcomes Amaya Iribarren
Amaya is a RMT, SMT(cc), CST graduated with her Massage Therapy diploma from Sutherland Chan in 2002. She has an active interest in sports, having been a former junior national level tennis player and rep soccer player. She is also a certified tennis instructor. Amaya is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Canadian Sports Massage Therapists Association and enjoys working with athletes at all levels. She has been the therapist for the York Swim Club and part of the Medical Team for various events including the Women's Lacrosse World Cup, Canada Summer Games, World Cup Soccer, Canadian Swimming Championships, Women's Ice Hockey Worlds, a Lead Therapist at the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games, Parapan Am Games, and World Juniors Hockey. Amaya is Canada's Chief Classifier for Para-Badminton. She had the amazing experience of being the MT for Canada's Core Medical team at the Rio '16 Paralympics.
